Nerd Farmcast Episode 19. Best of E3 2014!

Best of E3 2014

Nic and I podcast over the possibly worst and all of the best of E3 2014. I put my best of show out early with AC Unity almost showing up in every presser with something better and more exciting each time. If it wasn’t for Sony finishing the day with No Man’s Sky, I would have said AC Unity was the distinguished best in show. I’ve included all of the best videos from E3 2014 so feel free to watch them all as Nic and myself argue whether The Division has zombies or not. Enjoy Nerd Farmcast Episode 19! Best of E3 2014!

Assassin’s Creed Unity cinematic trailer appropriately covers Tears for Fears.

AC Unity also had two of the most impressive gameplay trailers. Despite the terrible narration, the game is truly the first look at next generation capabilities.

Not big on friends stealing all your glory, check out the impressive single player action before your friends show up in AC Unity.

Sunset Overdrive is another open world game, that’s about where the similarities end. Insomniac Games has created something tacky and wonderful, I mean, just look at this trailer that constantly breaks the fourth wall.

Some indies that really stole the show appeared during the Sony presser.  looked beautiful and serene, really tugged at the heart strings too.

Arguably the best in show for intuitive gameplay, creative mechanics, and gorgeous landscapes goes to the Sci Fi nerds wet dream, No Man’s Sky. You get your own planet and then get to discover everything on it, it’s simply magnificent.

And because this is my blog and I can do what I want to, the obligatory Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 2014 trailer.

For those interested in the Battlefield Hardline Beta for PS4 and PC feel free to click on the link provided and get busy waiting.

Of course in our ramblings I forgot to mention the slap in the face to Microsoft from Sony by snagging GTA V right out from under their noses and then allowing all saved data from a 360 version being transferable to the PS4 version. HUGE!
