Metro Redux Confirmed!
Rumors were floating around the interwebs some time last month about 4A Games continuing their quest to make Metro a household name by releasing a upscaled and polished version of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Well, I’m insanely glad to say, Metro Redux confirmed on the PS4!
One of my most beloved titles is getting the 1080p/60fps treatment on PS4 with Metro Redux, a combindation of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The Metro series is one of the most visceral experiences I’ve ever had playing a video game, with no HUD to guide you, you’re left with a crank flash light, zippo lighter, and janky weaponry to help you on whatever mission you’re sent on. I love that you always seem to have some goal in mind, but you’re never really blindly following instructions, it’s almost always for moral reasons or simply to survive.
Metro Redux double pack will be $50 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC or just $25 a piece for Meto 2033 and Metro: Last Light separately. Trust me though, you’ll want both.
