Hawkeye #11

“Pizza is my Business”

It’s no secret I’m in love with Matt Fraction and David Aja‘s Hawkeye book. It appeals to me in every form, the art, the stories, the heroes, and now Clint’s lovable one-eyed pizza loving pup, Lucky.

Spoiler from last issue, Hawkeye #10, the innocent death of one of Clint’s tenants spurs a spontaneous investigation by the pizza dog himself. What follows is one of the greatest and most creative stories I have read in a comic book, ever.

hawkeye #11,david aja, marvel, nerd farm blogThe black box introduces you to Lucky awakening from slumber, and catching key words you would assume dogs only know or care about. Not to mention all the hilarious connections Lucky makes with both Hawkeyes.

The whole issue is filled with fun quirks like this, I couldn’t get enough of them, and this isn’t even into the action of the book either.

I cannot express how much everyone needs to read this book, not just fans of Hawkeye, not just comic enthusiasts, everyone. Hawkeye #11 is an incredibly well written book that’s a ton of fun to read!

Farm On.
