Celebrate 20 Years of PlayStation
Sony Japan put out a little video showing their appreciation to PlayStation fans for sticking with them for what’s now 20 years. Two decades? I can’t believe it, has it really been that long? Am I really that old? I can still remember walking into with my dad and seeing the PlayStation kiosk beckoning me to play Gex like it was yesterday.
This celebrate 20 years of PlayStation video just drips with nostalgia, I couldn’t help but get crazy goosebumps all over. So many great memories with many more to be made for future generations to come.
History lesson: The first PlayStation debuted December 23rd, 1994 in Japan and then was subsequently released in the US in September of ’95.
PlayStation on released this little video that had me almost in tears. It’s an intro so basic like this, that has the power to bring back so many powerful memories, it’s no wonder the PlayStation has been so successful over the years.
Oh the memories, thank you Sony and your PlayStation for so many great ones.
