Uncanny X-Men #6. Dazzler Agend of SHIELD.
Can we just start and comment on how badass the cover of Uncanny X-Men #6 is? I thought Frazer Irving‘s Uncanny X-Men #5 cover was fantastic, with it’s bright colors and brilliant contrast, then he shows this little doozy, and smashes it out of the park. Where does Bendis find these guys?
The X-Men and their rookie crew are trapped in Limbo, a righteous plan by Dormammu to overthrow (or destroy) Rasputin. Rasputin is a form taken by Magik in Limbo, for those wondering who these strange characters are. Unprepared for anything of this nature, the Stepford sisters are persuaded to give the gang a much needed pep talk by means of mind manipulation.
That’s not even where all the fun starts, let’s just meet up with Agent Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D. who’s looking for some much needed help in the whole “mutant revolution” department. Who does she want for the job? My love interest…
DAZZLER!!! Holy shit, right!?! Brian Michael Bendis could not have grabbed my attention any harder! Can we also give even more props to Frazer Irving and the wonderful colorist who makes each page and every character pop? I mean, look at Dazzler, she’s emanating such a brilliant glow, ugh, looks so good! Gawd am I excited for some more Dazzler in my comic books.
