Well, your pals over at Bioware, in an attempt to get more subscriptions, are doing a free pass weekend. From 12:01 am Thursday March 15th to 2 am Monday the 26th, if you never played Star Wars The Old Republic, you may do so free of charge. As for anyone who has an account, such as myself…we must make secondary accounts and use those if we wish to play. This little bonus isn’t for anyone who has tasted the sweet fruit of The Old Republic.

On a little bit of a different note, I can see SWTOR swapping all the way to free to play, which would anger me a little bit, mostly because I paid the start up fee for a collectors edition. Also, its always a bit sad when you see someone have to change their business model to gain a very small amount of business back. But hey, here’s hoping WoW will be hitting the free to play shelves here soon!
