LucasArts has announced today that they will be showing a brand new Star Wars IP at Spike’s Gametrailers TV on May 31st. They didn’t just stop there, they then went on to further the hype by adding a gameplay trailer at GTTV’s “E3 All Access Live” on June 4th. That sounds great and all, but any hints on what we may see? Oh yeah, there is, the new franchise is trademarked as “Star Wars 1313“. People familiar with Star Wars books will recognize 1313 as Boba Fett‘s alias CT-1313 in the Boba Fett: Maze of Deception novel. I played Shadows of the Empire on N64 just to face off against Boba Fett, now you’re saying there’s a chance I could play as the most feared bounty hunter in the universe? Yes, please.
The June 4th “E3 All Access Live” will air at 7 pm pacific standard time.
