You remember that April fools joke by the Saints Row crew? The one about a new DLC that features super powers and alien overlords? Yeah, that one, well as it turns out, it was all true. Hot off the presses THQ with Volition have announced Saints Row: The Third‘s first ever full DLC expansion. What does that mean you ask? It means that there’s going to be a complete stand alone DLC pack that will cost $29.99 for everyone, including Season Pass holders. But fret not, “there’s freaking super powers!”
“Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound… That’s the power you’ll find inside the Dominatrix. Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want. As always in Saints Row, it’s up to you,” said Danny Bilson, Executive Vice President, Core Game Production, THQ Inc for the official announcement. Apparently an alien warlord by the name of Zinyak wants to consume all of Earth’s natural resources and enslave our beautiful busty females. I guess there’s also the Matrix to…
I love Saints Row: The Third. I would have it’s babies if it would let me. I was sad when I heard that “Trouble with Clones” was going to be Saints Row’s last mission based DLC, so you have to understand how psyched I am for this extra effort from the Volition team. A release date wasn’t announced but it’s rumored to drop for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this fall.
