Techland, the developer of Dead Island, announced today their new title, Project Hell. Project Hell was like many other ideas a mod for Dead Island that the developers decided was too great to hold as just a mod. It’s said to take place in the medieval era, bringing ice magic and two handed swords to slay undead minions. Although one developer was quoted as saying, “don’t expect unicorns and fairies” and the fact that Dead Island was a one act shit show, they may have learned valuable lessons using their ”experience already gained in game development and enhanced technology from Dead Island.”
Do I have high hopes for this title? Nope. Do I expect to see it anytime soon? Nope. An awesome trailer is bound to pop up soon depicting something completely irrelevant to the title.
