Announced mere hours ago from the Metal Gear Solid Facebook fan page, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has a solid release date. MGR:R will be released in North America on February 21st, 2013 with a demo of Zone of Enders HD. The game was meant to take place right before Metal Gear Solid 4, but after Platinum Games took hold of the reigns, MGR:R is now taking place years after MGS4 where cyborg ninjas are becoming the norm on the battlefield. Expect to see no stealth, a lot of robotic chunks flying everywhere, and plenty of explosions.
The only disheartening thing out of all of this is the Zone of Enders HD demo inclusion with the game. Does this mean we wont see the ZoE HD edition until early 2013?
