Last night at Gametrailers TV Exclusive E3 coverage, Konami dropped a bomb that will shake the foundation of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be the first MGS installment that won’t be heavily sneaking, tactical, or espionage. With the help of Bayaonetta’s developer Platinum Games, Metal Gear Rising looks to be an impressive no holds barred hack and slasher’s wet dream. An unforgiving assault by a cybernetic ninja intent on accomplishing one thing, destruction. Also during the press conference Hideo Kojima announced, in true Metal Gear Solid fashion, that a demo for Metal Gear Rising will be available with the Zone of Enders HD collection slated to come out this fall. For those that remember, a demo of Metal Gear Solid 2 was included with the first Zone of Enders, that I admittedly only purchased for said demo. BRILLIANT!
