After nearly a year of beta testing and even longer since the L4D2‘s last full DLC, Cold Stream is set to release later this month. If I paid more attention to the Left 4 Dead blog I would have known this 3 days ago, but now the internet is blowing up and you’ll be happy to know Cold Stream will have been worth the wait. All of the original Left 4 Dead campaigns, Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air and Death Toll will come packaged with the new community made Cold Stream campaign. Another added perk will be the ability to choose and play any mutation you want, on any campaign you want, when you want. You wan’t all tanks, go for it, unlimited m60 ammo, by all means, Valve has gift wrapped this DLC like a perfect belated birthday present from a rich family member who really doesn’t care about you but feels obligated to get you super awesome gifts because they feel guilty that they only see you on holidays.
Cold Stream will be available July 24, free for PC, and an unannounced Xbox price, since Microsoft needs a piece of the pie also (that’s a hint saying it probably wont be free).
Back to the Farm.
