Saints Row the Third: Gangstas in Space DLC Review
Saints Row the Third’s second mission based DLC has dropped and I’m here to tell you it doesn’t disappoint. Literally the second line into it I was already cracking up. The Gangstas in Space DLC doesn’t actually take place in space, but rather all around Steelport and on a movie set. Much like many conspiracy theorists believe the United States moon landing was, but in a 60′s cheesy science fiction movie type of way. Through most of the DLC you’re running, shooting, and flying in a live action movie with the high strung director yelling in your ears. Your acting is delightfully atrocious, compared to your alien/actress/homie Jacky, no Jenny, er wait Jamie? Whatever, lets just say between you, her and the director, Gangstas in Space never misses a humorous beat.
Gangstas in Space comes with 4 complete missions. Don’t let the number scare you, it took me around 2 1/2 hours to complete all 4 and there’s enough action and mayhem in all 4 to quench your Saints Row thirst. Completing all 4 earns you Jenny and Brutina as homies, 3 new Pew Pew blasters, an Alien Brainwash Helmet, Alien gang members, and two flying vehicles.
Volition hasn’t slowed down a bit, Gangstas in Space is a blast and worthy of a purchase. Free to Season Pass members (who I really wish I was about now) and 560 Microsoft Points for the rest of us schmucks, Saints Row the Third: Gangstas in Space is available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
