So I may have missed Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid panel at this years PAX Prime, but it didn’t stop me from grabbing the 10 minute gameplay footage shown to all attendees. Kojima explained that MGS: Ground Zeroes is going to be a prologue to Metal Gear Solid 4, will have Old Snake as it’s playable character, will use his FOX engine, and should release on next gen consoles.
The gameplay looks amazing! Seeing Snake for the first time climbing the cliff side gave me instant goosebumps. I’m very curious to see who the burned face villain is and find out the origins of XOF. I can never get enough Metal Gear Solid.
