Borerlands 2‘s first mission based DLC is set to release next week, not more than two weeks after the release of the Mechromancer DLC. The new DLC titled, “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty” will have the vault hunters traveling through Oasis, a desert full of scavengers and floating barges. Gearbox Software’s Randy Pitchford described it as more “Tattoine than an ocean.”
Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty will be available October 16th on Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft Points. The DLC is part of the four DLC $30 Season Pass. The PC, PlayStation 3, and European release dates have yet to be announced.
