It has begun! Personally I believe it to be the nail in the World of Warcraft coffin, maybe you feel differently, but Blizzard has announced that it’s newest expansion “Mists of Pandaria” will be released September 25, 2012 and they have already rolled out the loots for you. In this case, Battle.net accounts will receive a multitude of rewards such as WoW players getting a Quilen Mount (which looks like a flying, green, dog/ant eater) and a Quilen cub pet (which looks like an English Bulldog).
Diablo 3 players get a new banner sigil and accent which to me appears to be a couple mustaches surrounded by tribal designs.
And finally StarCraft 2 players get a couple portraits featuring an infested (space) Orc or an Elf Templar, but because I don’t play StarCraft, can’t really tell you what they are used for other than essentially bumper stickers for your profile.
What Blizzard/Activision have done this time around that’s kind of really cool is the “Standard Edition” will only run you $39.99 USD and the “Deluxe Edition” is $59.99 which is the normal price for most regular console and computer games as of late. Both are available for digital download!
