“It’s not officially until we say it’s official” quoted from a @battlefield tweet, which has coincidentally been deleted, not more than 2 days ago, now low and behold, Battlefield 4 is out of the bag. Announced earlier today on Battlefield.com, Battlefield 4 has officially been announced via a fall 2013 beta as a pre-order bonus to EA’s next FPS, Medal of Honor Warfighter. When are publishers and developers just going to admit when they’ve leaked something on accident? It’s like a criminal denying everything when the evidence sits right in front of them. An “official” announcement isn’t any better than just saying, “Yeah, Battlefield 4 is obviously happening. Pre-order our next great hype, Medal of Honor Warfighter.” The internet doesn’t forget…
According to Battlefield.com they plan on continuing there release of BF3 content over the next year, since they just charged the community with Battlefield 3 premium passes. It really only begs the question, what generation of consoles BF4 will fall in to. The rumors of a next gen console is almost an indefinite possibility for a fall 2013 release.
