**Kind of Spoiler free. You’ve been warned**
Marvel has done a fantastic job making every issue of Avengers vs X-Men gripping and nail biting excitement. I use the word excitement, others would use stressful. No matter what way you look at it, Avengers vs X-Men is one of the strongest series in the comic book universe right now, and it’s about to blow your mind.
It’s no secret by now, the Phoenix Five were never meant to remain as five, like the Highlander, there can be only one. Two remain, one hell bent on “rescuing” Hope Summers, the other slowly drifting into madness. The battle between Avengers and X-Men soon became a fight for survival, leaving no one safe under the tyranny of a corrupt Phoenix force. Magneto has seen it before, and he reaches out to an old friend for aid.
Look, look, look, if you’re reading this, I told you “no spoilers” so I’m going to keep this on the level. The cover shows you Cyclops “choke-a-bitch” so you know Emma is going down, but that’s only part of this story. Avengers vs X-Men Round 11 is one of the most powerful books I’ve read in a long time. Yes, Professor Xavier is here, and he’s brought friends. It has one of the most incredible fight scenes filled with mind control, well placed arrows, psychic forces, comedy, Hulk smash, and…death. The final pages have every heroes emotions put front and center, doing what they know is futile, but feel they have to do anyway, “Throw me.” says Wolverine to the Hulk, an obvious mistake, but one Wolverine knows he must take, and the last page gives me goosebumps just thinking about it, AvX #11 is a book you do not want to miss, no, you can’t miss.
Sidenote: What happened to Warlock? Why does he look like a robot strung out on Meth? Can someone answer this for me? Thxkbye.
