Today marked the Wii U‘s official campaign into the Americas by launching their first colorful trailer. You’ll see people “genuinely” having fun, sporting that “ninja star” game, surfing the menus for movies, singing karaoke, and generally doing a lot of standing. Much more standing then I like to do when I play games. Also I don’t really like to hold a tablet in front of my face when I sing karaoke either, I like to grab that mic and scream so hard into it as to almost create a negative energy field forcing it down my throat. That’s how I role. I will admit the trailer is much, much better than what the UK got (so bad apparently that they dropped it from their YouTube page), a drab and boring explanation of what the Wii U is.
Wii U is launching mere days before Thanksgiving, and I honestly don’t know what the public reception will be. I’m going to say positive since the majority of the US is an Apple loving flock of sheep, except you of course, our faithful three readers. We love you, please don’t leave us.
